Sponsorship Opportunities

Dear Future Sponsors:

The Fifth International African Diaspora Heritage Trail Conference (ADHT), hosted by the United Republic of Tanzania, Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources, will be held October 25-30, 2009, in Dar Es Salaam. The theme for the conference is: An African Homecoming: Exploring Origins of the Diaspora and Transforming Cultural Heritage Assets into Tourism Destinations.

Over 200 delegates from Africa, The Caribbean, South America and the USA will gather to hear keynote addresses from an international “Who’s Who” of heritage tourism. Attendees will include: high level government and elected officials, business representatives, institutional officials, celebrated artists and tourism industry leaders -- all part of the growing international heritage tourism industry network working to increase tourism visitation and enhance product development.

This is an ideal opportunity for your company to showcase its products and services or to provide a unique and substantive hospitality experience for your current customers by sponsoring one of the many high profile events taking place at the African Diaspora Heritage Trail Conference.

The ADHT conference offers sponsors the opportunity to promote and market to a well-informed and experienced audience. The conference offers first-rate ceremonies, luncheons, gala dinners, cultural performances and touring experiences.

We have created a few unique opportunities for your company to showcase its products and services before our blue-ribbon delegates. Our staff can customize a sponsorship package that will fit perfectly into your marketing strategy and maximize your visibility and exposure to the delegates. Our goal is to create a lasting partnership with your company that will enable you to obtain multi-year exposure at our upcoming annual conferences, on our website, and in conference materials.

We extend this special invitation for you to become a sponsor, and we look forward to working with you at this and future ADHT events.

Sincerely,

Gaynelle Henderson-Bailey, Ph.D.

Executive Director, ADHT Conference
